Privacy Policy

AVTech Connect (“the App”) is an attendance and workforce management application provided by AVTech to its enrolled employees. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.

Information we collect

Account data — name, work email or phone, and the role assigned by your organization (employee, manager, admin).
Precise location — captured only when you tap clock-in or clock-out, and when responding to a presence check, to verify you are at a designated office or site location.
Attendance records — clock-in / clock-out timestamps, session totals, and any notes you add to your attendance.
Device information — model, OS version, app version, and a device identifier, used for diagnostics and to detect anomalous use of your account.

How we use it

To record your work attendance and compute payroll hours.
To verify you are physically present at an approved location when clocking in, clocking out, or responding to a presence check.
To let your manager and your organization’s admins view your attendance history.
To send presence-check notifications during your work session.
To diagnose crashes and improve the App.

Sharing

Your data is visible to your organization’s managers and admins within the App. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Data is stored on Cloudflare D1 in regions managed by Cloudflare. We use the following sub-processors:

Cloudflare (application hosting and database storage)
Google Firebase (test-build distribution to internal testers)

Retention

Attendance records are retained for as long as you are an active employee of the organization that enrolled you, and for any period required afterwards by applicable labour or tax law. Location points attached to clock-in / clock-out events are retained as part of those records.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting your organization’s admin or writing to us at the address below. If your organization deletes your account, your personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed; we never store them in plain text. Access to admin functions is gated by role-based-access controls.

Children

The App is intended for use by employees aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email.
